THE SPIRIT CABIN

Fall Asleep Listening to the Soothing Howls of Wolves!

Remotely located in quiet, rural Washington County, Florida, we offer our guests the rare experience of camping near the Seacrest Wolves in our rustic Spirit Cabin. Escape from the noisy city and enjoy a peaceful overnight or weekend stay at Seacrest Wolf Preserve.

 

The Spirit Cabin:

Seacrest Wolf Preserve is excited to announce that our wonderful SPIRIT CABIN is available to our guests. This unique, primitive cabin is named after Spirit, the Hero Wolf, and can accommodate up to 6 people. The Spirit Cabin features a queen size hide-a-bed and 2 lofts with twin size blow-up mattresses (guests must supply their own linens and pillows). There is a fan and heater, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, and table and chairs. Although there is no running water in the cabin, it is located next to our on-site bathhouse, which has showers. The Spirit Cabin is NOT open to the public. It is only available for guests that are participating in our tours. Our Spirit Cabin is popular and requires advance reservations by phone: (850) 773-2897.

PRICE: $125 (plus tax) for the first 2 people and $50 (plus tax) for each additional person. A $75 (plus tax) non-refundable deposit is required to book the Spirit Cabin.

CAMPING RULES:

  • Children are to be under the strict supervision of adults at all times and are not allowed to wander the property or nature trails unattended.

  • No running or climbing on fences while visiting Seacrest.

  • Do not attempt to approach the enclosures without permission or supervision.

  • Do not throw anything over the fences or harass the animals in any way.

  • No digital cameras, recording devices, or cell phones will be allowed to record the wolves through the fences, NO EXCEPTIONS! Any violation of this rule will result in eviction from the property without refund. Seacrest Wolf Preserve, Inc. legally owns all rights to all photos taken at SWP and any violation of this rule will result in legal issues.

  • SWP is dog friendly but a non-refundable pet deposit is required. However, all dogs must have current vaccinations (documentation REQUIRED) and be leashed and contained at all times in the camping area. Loud barking in the camping area at night will not be tolerated. See our Rules page for more information about bringing a dog to Seacrest.

  • A designated smoking area has been provided for your comfort. Smoking is not allowed in any other areas at Seacrest.

  • No open containers of alcohol permitted.

  • No unlawful conduct while on these premises. Always be considerate of your camping neighbors.

  • Do not enter restricted areas without a Seacrest guide. No trespassing on private property.

  • THE CONCESSIONS PAVILION IS NOT INCLUDED IN SEACREST CAMPING AMENITIES AND IS OFF LIMITS TO ANY GUESTS CAMPING AT SEACREST AT ALL TIMES.

  • Please respect our restrooms and help keep them clean. No playing in restrooms.

  • Dispose of all trash appropriately in the receptacles provided.

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

  • Check out time is by 12:00 p.m. the following day

  • Our cabin is NOT open to the public. It is only available for our guests that are participating in our tours.

  • All guests must review all our rules prior to visiting Seacrest.
